Yesterday was my last day as an ADM Product Marketing Intern, and I could not be prouder of the work that I did during my 12 week internship!
From orientation in Decatur, IL to touring the ADM plant to trying unreleased flavors during sensory testing, I had the amazing opportunity to learn about the MASSIVE scope of ADM through experience and contribute to my team in many in-depth projects. As the Global Protein and Savory Product Marketing Intern, I met with individuals from every region – NA, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM – and from 10+ teams across the company. My projects included:
Optimizing ADM.com’s protein pages through SEO best practices
Creating Value Propositions and Positioning for Plant-Based Proteins in Pet Food
Spearheading the update of the Global Protein Competitive Analysis
Contributing greatly as a support before, during, and after ADM’s Savory Innovation Session
Utilizing Nielsen for targeting new customers
…and more!
When working on these projects, I found that my greatest takeaway was that working closely with others and gaining a variety of perspectives created a result that was elevated, expedited, and energizing!

I would also like to thank Sonja Piotrowski and Brad Schwan, as well as every one of the 40+ individuals that I met with this summer during 1:1s – thank you for your support and for encouraging me to learn and grow personally and professionally this summer!
