I love to volunteer where my passions and talents intersect with great causes centering around animals, arts & culture, education, the environment, and LGBTQ+ support.

Karma Rescue
September 2022 - June 2024
With Karma Rescue, I created illustrations of animals to fundraise by utilizing Adobe Photoshop. By doing this, these funds are able to provide the surrounding community and animals ample resources for assistance while delivering unique artwork to capture audiences on Instagram and Facebook. I also communicate frequently with the organization, adapt to changing timelines, and harness my creativity to exceed organizational and community needs and wants. Karma Rescue officially closed its doors for operation in June 2024
The Hatchery Chicago
September 2022
The Hatchery Chicago® is a non-profit food and beverage incubator dedicated to helping local entrepreneurs build & grow successful businesses. This non-profit needed assistance in creating an organizational chart. Since I have experience in graphic design, I knew that my talents could help their team to understand their team's structure and improve internal communication.
Animal Friends Humane Society
November 2020 - December 2021
Animal Friends Humane Society (AFHS) is a non-profit animal shelter in Hamilton, OH. Here, I spent time with, spoke gently to, and played with animals to acclimate them to new shelter environment and reduce stress levels. This helped to restructure lifestyle of older residents through enrichment and practicing good behaviors to fast-track shelter stay and achieve adopted status. I also explored dog body language and animal confidence levels by participating in 4 seminars, effectively learning how to acclimate stray dogs and animal intakes for shelter duration.
